# A Dedication to Brigid Brigid of the Poets, inspire my words so they might heal the world. Brigid of the Forge, strengthen my hand so they might do the work. Brigid the Healer, repair my being so it might live long in this world. Brigid of the Cowless, shelter the outcast so we might live in peace. Brigid of the Judgements, guide our rulings so we might serve justice. Brigid the Hospitaller, open our hearts, so we might care for all life. Brigid, foster-mother of Christ, take us in, so we might live Christ in this world and the other. # Introduction I hope to offer my love, devotion, and work with Brigid, but these words are mine unless otherwise cited. As I draw from the myths, legends, traditions, and prayers of those who came before, I am building my faith and practice. I hope it is a blessing for others, but I am not here to speak for Brigid. She is more than capable of speaking for herself. These are my thoughts, meditations, and studies. They are the roots of my work. If the Imbas shines through them, may they inspire others. They are rooted in my faith and practice in the soil of the lore and the tradition. They live in me, so I might live them. This is not a museum to gather dust on its artifacts, but a workshop to do the work I have sworn to do. # Brigid Table of Contents %% Begin Waypoint %% - [[Brigid]] - **Goddess** - [[Brigid Lore]] - [[Pan-Celtic Brigids]] - [[Triple Brigids]] - [[My Mystical Experience]] - **[[Prayers]]** - [[The Name of Brigid]] %% End Waypoint %%
