# Invocation Radiant Christ, Flame within and Fire above, Gleaming reflection of the Hidden Light, Illuminating Word, whispered to the wise, Blessed Moon of Mystery, mirror of the deep, In your fullness, awaken us to grow in your Fulness. Let our hearts be supple, our hands be strong, And our souls alight with love, courage, and truth. # The Sacred Moment Today, the Flower Moon rises full, pulling tides and truths alike to the surface. May we feel the call to justice, to transformation, to healing, and to celebration. In this sacred brightness of the Full Moon, we walk the path of the Via Transformativa: the way of change, the march of justice, track of living love into form. The world aches for healing, and transformation begins not just in systems, but in souls. This is a moon to act, to bless, to become. # Theme: Becoming Fruitful “Yes, and for this very cause adding on your part all diligence, in your faith supply moral excellence; and in moral excellence, knowledge; and in knowledge, self-control; and in self-control patience; and in patience godliness; and in godliness brotherly affection; and in brotherly affection, love..." — 2 Peter 1:5–9 (WEB) This sacred dance is the endless rhythm through which we grow into perfection and rise toward love. It starts with adding the Greek word ἀρετή (aretē) to our faith. This “moral excellence” is moral courage and active excellence. It is the strength to stand up for the oppressed, for truth, justice, and hope to bring about the equity of the kin-dom here and now. We do not climb from one step to another. We don’t leave behind faith for excellence or knowledge for self-control. We carry each as flame from candle to candle in a chain of growing light, gathering what we can at each step, then continuing through the dance. Each round, we perfect the dance more. Sometimes we stumble or misstep, but the important thing is that we keep dancing. The path of transformation is not only about what we oppose in the world; it is about what we cultivate within. Faith ripens into love. Love blossoms into justice. This full moon invites us to reflect on our inner abundance. Are we fruitful? Or have we, as the verse warns, become forgetful of who we truly are? What buds are ready to flower in the light of this moon? Is it faith, the relational trust that grows through mutual respect and support? Has excellence come into bloom, giving us the strength to rise up and speak out? Does knowledge blossom within us, ready to share this knowing into the wind? Is self-control burgeoning within us? Has patience matured into flowers of calm, enduring hope? Does godliness open us to the interconnectedness and interbeing of all things? Has brotherly/sisterly/niblingly affection flourished within us? Is love ready to burst forth into glorious flowers. It could be a single flower or a garden. This is the time to see what is growing and ready to spread beyond us, out into the world. # Practice: The Mirror of the Moon Tonight, step outside or sit at your altar. Gaze at the full moon, or visualize its fullness if you cannot see it. Breathe deeply and root yourself into the One Life. One by one, name the gifts listed in the scripture. Let each word become a prayer, then see yourself reflected in the moon. Where is each quality strong in you? Where does it want to grow? Speak to it. Bless it. Ask Spirit for help where needed. Then offer a simple act: light a candle, sing a hymn, pour a libation, as a vow to live your transformation out loud. - Faith - Moral excellence - Knowledge - Self-control - Patience - Godliness - Brotherly/Sisterly/niblingly affection - Love # Closing Blessing May the fullness of the moon reflect the glory of the Fulness within us. May faith steady us, love lead us, and transformation guide us. We are not who we were. We are becoming who we called into being. Amen. Awen. So may it be.
